DAILY DEVOTIONALS

MONDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 139:14 – “I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have done is wonderful.  I know this very well.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
God carefully created every part of you. Your personality, talents, and abilities are part of His design. When you remember that God made you, you can walk with confidence knowing you are valuable.

CHALLENGE:
Write down three things you like about yourself.
QUICK PRAYER:
God, thank You for knowing me and still loving me. Help me to be real with you this week. Amen.

TUESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Jeremiah 29:11  –
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Sometimes we wonder what our future will look like. God already has a plan for our lives. Even when we don't understand everything, we can trust that God is leading us toward something good.

CHALLENGE:
Think about one dream or goal you have. Share it with a parent or trusted adult.

QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, help me trust Your plans for my life. Guide me each day and help me follow You. Amen.
WEDNESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 5:16 – “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
God wants His light to shine through us. When we are kind, helpful, loving, and honest, others can see Jesus through our actions.

CHALLENGE:
Do one unexpected act of kindness today.

QUICK PRAYER:
Jesus, help me shine Your light everywhere I go. Let my actions point others to You. Amen.
THURSDAY

SCRIPTURE:
1 Timothy 4:12  –
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
You do not have to wait until you're older to make a difference. God can use young people right now. Your words, actions, faith, and love can encourage others.

CHALLENGE:
Encourage one person today with a compliment, prayer, or kind note.

QUICK PRAYER:
God, use me to make a difference. Help me be an example of faith wherever I go. Amen.

How can you use those gifts to help others?

Family Activity
Together, create a "God Made Me Special" poster. Have each family member write or draw gifts, talents, and qualities God has given them.
Parent Encouragement:
Your words help shape your child's identity. Take time this week to speak life, encouragement, and affirmation into them.
