WEEKLY MEMORY VERSE

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience... And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus."
Colossians 3:12-17 (NIV)

 MEMORY VERSE FOCUS

A flower blooms so others can see its beauty. As followers of Jesus, our faith should be visible in the way we live, speak, serve, and love others. God wants our lives to reflect His love so that people can see Jesus through us.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

MONDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Matthew 5:16  –
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Jesus tells us to let our light shine before others. Our actions can point people to God. Every act of kindness, every encouraging word, and every loving choice allows God's light to shine through us.

CHALLENGE:
Look for one opportunity today to encourage someone.

QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, help me shine Your light today so others can see Your love through me.  Amen.
TUESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Colossians 3:12  – “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Paul tells believers to "clothe" themselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Just like we choose our clothes each morning, we can choose to put on Christ-like attitudes every day.

CHALLENGE:
Choose one of these qualities and practice it intentionally throughout the day.

QUICK PRAYER:
Jesus, help me put on kindness and compassion in everything I do.  Amen.
WEDNESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 4:32  – “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Kindness and forgiveness help us reflect God's heart. When we forgive others and show grace, we demonstrate the same love God has shown us.

CHALLENGE:
Forgive someone who may have hurt your feelings or show kindness to someone who needs encouragement.

QUICK PRAYER:
Father, help me show grace and forgiveness just as You have shown them to me. Amen.
THURSDAY

SCRIPTURE:
Colossians 3:17  –
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Whether we are at home, school, church, or with friends, we should do everything for God's glory. Every action is an opportunity to honor Jesus.

CHALLENGE:
Before you do something today, ask yourself, "Does this honor Jesus?"

QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, help me honor You in my words, actions, and choices today.  Amen.

What does kindness look like in everyday life?
What are some ways we can serve
 others as a family?

Family Activity
Create a "Bloom Board." Draw or cut out flowers and write acts of kindness or service on each petal. Throughout the week, complete the actions together and add them to the board.
Parent Encouragement:
Children often learn faith by watching it modeled. Let them see your compassion, generosity, prayer life, and service to others. Your example helps their faith bloom.
