DAILY DEVOTIONALS
We can be courageous because God is with us always.
MONDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Joshua 1:9 – “...Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Being brave doesn’t mean you never feel afraid. It means you choose to move forward even when fear tries to hold you back. God told Joshua to be strong and courageous because He would be with him. You’re not facing anything alone. God’s presence is your power. He’s with you at school, at home, and even in the moments where no one else seems to understand.
CHALLENGE:
Say this aloud before starting your day: “God is with me. I am not alone. I can be brave.” Then take a confident step into whatever’s ahead.
QUICK PRAYER:
God, thank You for being with me. Give me the courage to walk forward today without fear. Amen.

TUESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous... the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Courage isn’t always loud or dramatic—it’s a decision. It’s doing the right thing even when it’s hard or unpopular. When you trust that God has your back, you can stand firm. Whether you're choosing kindness, speaking truth, or simply showing up when you’d rather quit, that's bravery. And every act of courage makes you stronger for the next.
CHALLENGE:
Do something bold today. Speak up in a group, pray out loud, or share something encouraging with someone who needs it.
QUICK PRAYER:
God, help me to choose courage over comfort. Make me bold in what I do and say. Amen.

WEDNESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Fear is a thief. It tries to steal your joy, silence your voice, and block your purpose. But God didn’t create you to live scared. He gave you power and strength that comes from Him. When fear shows up, face it with faith, knowing God has already equipped you for the moment.
CHALLENGE:
Name one fear aloud today, then follow it with: “But God is greater.” Do it until you believe it.
QUICK PRAYER:
God, fear has no control over me. Fill me with faith and boldness instead. Amen.

THURSDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Exodus 14:15 – “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.’”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Sometimes we pray for courage, but then freeze up when it’s time to act. God told Moses and the Israelites to stop waiting and start walking. You’ve prayed. You’ve prepared. Now it’s time to take the step. You don’t need to have all the answers—just enough courage to move forward with God.
CHALLENGE:
Do something you’ve been putting off because of fear or doubt. Even if it’s small, take that step.
QUICK PRAYER:
God, give me the boldness to move when You say move. I trust you with my next step. Amen.

FRIDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Proverbs 28:1 – “The righteous are as bold as a lion.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Your courage might just be the thing that sparks someone else’s. When you live boldly, others notice. People are inspired when they see someone step out in faith, unafraid to be different or to stand for truth. Being bold isn't just about you—it's about the people you're leading by example. When you shine, others feel permission to shine too.
CHALLENGE:
Encourage someone today to be brave. Text a friend, hype someone up, or compliment a peer for doing something bold.
QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, help me to be bold in a way that lifts others up and leads them to You. Amen.

SATURDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 41:10 – “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Bravery doesn’t always feel powerful in the moment. Sometimes it feels shaky, awkward, or even uncertain. But what matters most is that you keep showing up. God promises to give you strength when you’re weak and courage when you’re unsure. Even quiet obedience can be bold when it’s done in faith.
CHALLENGE:
Show up for something today that makes you nervous—but do it anyway. Let your faith lead your actions.
QUICK PRAYER:
God, even when I feel weak, I know You are strong. Help me do what You’ve called me to do. Amen.
