WEEKLY MEMORY VERSE

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers."
Psalm 1:1-3 (NIV)

MONDAY MOMENT MESSAGE

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

MONDAY
SCRIPTURE: Colossians 2:6-7
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Being rooted in Christ means staying connected to Him every day. Just as roots absorb water and nutrients, we grow stronger when we spend time with God. The more we learn about Him, the stronger our faith becomes.

CHALLENGE:
Spend five extra minutes reading your Bible today.

QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, help me grow deep roots in You. Teach me to stay connected to Your Word every day. Amen.
TUESDAY
SCRIPTURE: Joshua 1:8
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
God told Joshua to think about His Word day and night. When we keep God's truth in our hearts and minds, it helps us make wise choices and stay focused on Him.

CHALLENGE:
Write your favorite Bible verse on a note card and place it somewhere you'll see it today.

QUICK PRAYER:
God, help me remember Your Word and apply it to my life each day.  Amen.
WEDNESDAY
SCRIPTURE: Matthew 7:24-25
“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Jesus compared wise people to those who build their house on a rock. Storms came, but the house stood strong. When our lives are built on Jesus, we can stand strong when problems arise.

CHALLENGE:
Think of one challenge you're facing. Talk to God about it and ask Him for strength.

QUICK PRAYER:
Jesus, help me build my life on Your truth so I can stand strong no matter what comes my way.  Amen.
THURSDAY

SCRIPTURE: John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Jesus said He is the vine and we are the branches. Branches stay healthy when they remain connected to the vine.
We stay spiritually healthy when we remain connected to Jesus.

CHALLENGE:
Take a break from one distraction today and spend that time praying or reading your Bible.

QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, help me stay connected to You. I want my life to bear fruit that honors You.  Amen.
FRIDAY
SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 17:7–8
"But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Have you ever seen flowers survive a really hot summer? They don't survive because they're lucky—they survive because they have a good source of water.
God is our source. When we trust Him, He gives us everything we need to keep growing. Sometimes life feels hard. You may have a bad day, feel left out, or not understand why something happened. But when your roots are connected to God, He gives you peace, strength, and hope. Just like a tree beside a river keeps getting water, we keep receiving what we need from God.

 CHALLENGE:
Whenever something frustrates you today, stop before reacting and whisper, "God, You're my source." Trust Him before you respond.

QUICK PRAYER:
Dear God, thank You for always being my source of strength. Help me trust You when life is easy and when life is difficult. Keep my heart connected to You so I can continue to grow and bear good fruit. Thank You for never leaving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

SATURDAY
SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 3:17–19
"Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Roots don't only help a tree stand—they also help it receive everything it needs to grow.
The same is true for us. God's love is like rich soil that helps our faith grow. When you remember how much God loves you, you don't have to compare yourself to others or wonder if you're enough. You belong to Him.
Being rooted in God's love means you know that no matter what happens, nothing can separate you from His love. That kind of foundation helps you become confident, kind, brave, and strong.

As we finish Week 2, remember this: Strong roots grow in the soil of God's love.

CHALLENGE:
Tell three people today that God loves them. It could be a family member, a friend, or even someone you don't know very well. Let God's love grow through you.

QUICK PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me so completely. Help me stay rooted in Your love so I can grow into the person You created me to be. Let my words, my choices, and my actions show others that You live in my heart. Thank You for making me strong from the inside out. In Jesus' name, Amen.
