"What's in a Name"
What is in a name? That question cuts deeper than we might first expect. Names once carried real weight, real authority, real relationship. When someone sent you to a neighbor with nothing but a name, that name opened doors, moved mountains, and met needs. This sermon draws us into that same reality when it comes to the name above all names. When we close our prayers with the words 'in Jesus' name,' are we speaking out of habit, or are we declaring something powerful and alive? The message calls us to rediscover the authority packed into that name, the name of the one who was crucified, buried in a borrowed tomb, and rose just as he said he would. That resurrection is not ancient history sitting behind glass. It is the living foundation of every prayer we dare to pray. We are invited to stop saying the name casually and start saying it with the full weight of what it means, that we are speaking under the authority of a risen Savior who has already conquered the worst that the world could throw at him.
