"The Assignment is Finished ...But The Mission Continues"
What happens when God interrupts our carefully laid plans and calls us toward something we never anticipated? This message takes us deep into 2 Timothy 4:6-8, where Paul reflects on a life fully poured out in service, declaring that he has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. But the real tension in the text is not about endings at all. It is about whether we can stand at the close of one chapter and still recognize that a new beginning is unfolding. We are challenged to consider that every assignment carries an appointed end, and that no servant of God, no matter how gifted or beloved, is meant to stay forever. The only permanent foundation is Christ himself. When we anchor ourselves to that truth, transitions stop feeling like losses and start feeling like invitations.
