Covenant with God - Part 4: "Signed, Sealed & Sanctified"
This powerful message invites us into understanding what it means to be 'Signed, Sealed, and Sanctified' through the Trinitarian covenant process. Drawing from Ephesians 1:13-14, we discover that our salvation isn't a shaky promise but a rock-solid guarantee stamped by the King of Kings himself. The journey begins with hearing the gospel, moves to believing it in our hearts, and culminates in being sealed by the Holy Spirit—a divine mark of ownership that cannot be tampered with. Just as ancient royalty would seal important documents with wax and their signet ring, God has placed His Holy Spirit upon us as an unchangeable seal of authenticity. We learn that we're not just forgiven—we have a new identity. The blood of Jesus signed our names in crimson ink with the words 'paid in full' written underneath, meaning every debt from our past, present, and future sins has been completely settled. This isn't about our performance or behavior; it's about grace that chose us, a Son who redeemed us, and a Spirit who sealed us. When the world tries to label us or our past tries to haunt us, we can stand firm knowing we're tamper-proof, protected by heaven's guarantee, with a mansion already reserved and a deposit already made that ensures our inheritance is secure.
Blessings,
