It's Time To Elevate

Jun 7, 2026    Pastor James Minnick

This powerful message invites us to examine the distinction between eagles and crows in our spiritual lives. Drawing from Isaiah 40:31, we discover that waiting on the Lord enables us to mount up with wings like eagles, running without weariness and walking without fainting. The eagle represents those who refuse to engage with every distraction, criticism, or petty conflict that comes their way. Instead of fighting battles God never assigned to us, we learn to spread our wings and rise above the turbulence. The higher we ascend in faith, the less power negativity has over us. Crows represent those who peck at us, criticize our vision, and try to distract us from our divine assignment. But here's the revelation: crows cannot breathe at the altitudes where eagles soar. When we elevate our thinking, our worship, and our commitment to God's purpose, the distractions naturally fall away. This message challenges us to stop fighting what God never called us to fight, to stop entertaining conversations that pull us down, and to recognize that some battles are won simply by refusing to descend to that level. We must examine whether we're traveling with eagles or crows, whether our mindset reflects vision and purpose or confusion and complaint. The call to elevate is not just about personal success but about spiritual maturity, about becoming the people God has called us to be in this generation.
