 MEMORY VERSE FOCUS

Plants don't bloom overnight. Growth takes time, patience, and care. In the same way, God is helping us grow every day. As we learn more about Jesus and follow His example, we become more loving, kind, faithful, and obedient. Growing in Christ is a lifelong journey.

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

DAILY DEVOTIONALS

MONDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Philippians 1:6 –
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
God began a good work in you, and He is not finished yet. Sometimes we get discouraged because we are not where we want to be, but God is patiently helping us grow. Every step of faith matters.

CHALLENGE:
Write down one area where you would like to grow closer to Jesus.

QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for continuing to work in my life. Help me trust the process of growing in You.  Amen.
TUESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Galatians 5:22-23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
The Fruit of the Spirit shows what happens when God's Spirit works in our lives. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are signs of spiritual growth.

CHALLENGE:
Choose one Fruit of the Spirit and practice it intentionally today.

QUICK PRAYER:
Holy Spirit, help me produce good fruit that reflects Jesus in my life.  Amen.
WEDNESDAY
SCRIPTURE:
Luke 6:31 – “Do to others as you would have them do to you."

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
Jesus teaches us to treat others the way we want to be treated. Growing in Christ means growing in how we love and care for people. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

CHALLENGE:
Do something kind for someone without expecting anything in return.

QUICK PRAYER:
Jesus, help me love others the way You love me.  Amen.
THURSDAY

SCRIPTURE:
Romans 12:2   –
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
As we spend time with God, He changes the way we think. Instead of following the crowd, we learn to follow His truth. God transforms us from the inside out.

CHALLENGE:
Replace one negative thought today with a truth from God's Word.

QUICK PRAYER:
Lord, renew my mind and help me think more like You each day.  Amen.

Growth Tracker Challenge

This week, keep track of ways you are becoming more like Jesus.
Each day ask yourself:
Was I kind today?
 Did I pray today?
 Did I read God's Word?
Did I help someone?
Did I make a Christ-like choice?
At the end of the week, celebrate one area where you noticed growth.

Family Activity
Create a paper flower together. Write one Fruit of the Spirit on each petal. Throughout the week, discuss ways your family demonstrated those qualities.
Parent Encouragement:
Celebrate progress, not perfection. Children grow spiritually the same way they grow physically—little by little. Encourage their efforts and remind them that God is helping them grow every day.
