Rev. Shirley Thomas
Rev. Shirley Lloyd-Thomas’ main goal is to be Christ driven, because she believes only what you do for Christ will last. Shirley is a wife, mother and grandmother. She has been a Sunday school teacher for over forty years (40), and has worked with the Youth department as a supervisor for the Silver Star usher board for many of those years. Shirley feels privileged and honored that God called her. She is also grateful for her Pastor’s acknowledgment of the call, thus allowing her to minister under an anointed man of God, Dr. James J. Minnick.
Mrs. Lloyd-Thomas is employed at Wayne County Community College District as a Student Specialist. She also serves as a member of the Standing Committee for Ceremonial Rituals at the district. While assisting students with their educational needs, Shirley is blessed to be in a position where she can help with their spiritual needs as well. Shirley is known to tell students that God will make a way. She is an advocate for Christ even at work.
In addition, Mrs. Lloyd-Thomas is a Chaplain for U.A.W. locals. She has earned an Associate degree and may certificates in Biblical Studies. She is committed to continually assist her Pastor and other ministers of the gospel. Ultimately, Shirley has dedicated her life to serving Jesus Christ!
