Personal Statement of Salvation and Call To Ministry
I was raised in a blended family household. My parents were active Christians and ensured that I was acquainted with the teachings of Christ and the church from an early age. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at age four, and have been highly active in the church since that time.
Bible study has always been an integral part of my life. Teaching the Word of God has always been a desire for me. I have held various leadership roles and teaching positions in my local church and District Association, over the years. I have taught in Christian Education since 1975 and have extensively studied to show myself approved unto God. I received my call to the preaching ministry in 2007, however, I did not accept the call until 2010. After accepting the call, I started a proactive path towards Seminary training in 2011. My heart’s desire is to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for It is God’s Power of Salvation.
Ministry Statement
To witness to others about the Love and Goodness of a Sovereign God, encouraging others to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is my desire to assist in equipping the saints of God, by preaching and teaching the Word of Truth. The ultimate goal of ministry is found in Matthew 28: 19-20, making disciples and teaching them to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ. Effective ministry develops mature Christians equipped to live a life that is pleasing to God, spreading the Gospel to others.
Doctrinal Belief
I believe that there is one, True and Living God, Sovereign in all His Ways, Who created and rules over all. I believe that Jesus, God’s Son, came in the form of man to save the world from their sins and offer the gift of eternal life to all men. Jesus lived, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended unto His Father and promised to come back again, for the Church. Jesus did not leave man comfortless, but left the Person of the Holy Spirit and He actively, effectively works and directs the lives of believers. I believe that the Bible is the infallible and inspired Word of God, sufficient for the spiritual growth and meets the needs of the believer and the body of Christ, the Church.
