
Min. Carlton Smith Jr.
Minister Carlton Smith Jr. is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He attended Detroit Public Schools. He accepted Christ and was admitted into fellowship at St. Francis Church under the leadership of Pastor David Speller. Carlton Jr. was first ordained as Deacon on October 2014 at Victory Fellowship Church. At Victory Fellowship Church, he served and taught Sunday School, drove the church van, and led the Men’s Group. He was recently ordained and received in Mt. Pleasant family under the leadership of Dr. James J. Minnick, Pastor. Carlton Jr. served in the US Navy 4 year’s active duty, serving in Desert Storm and was honorable discharged. Carlton worked in Subsidiary Companies of Chrysler as a Union Worker and Chief Steward. He is now an Entrepreneur in the trucking industry. He’s married to his blossoming flower and wife Lakeyda Smith. He is a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and godfather. He loves people, family values, structure, and helping others by encouragement. He lives by “keeping your word because it’s your bond”. He stands on and believes Proverbs 3:5-6, trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not to thine own understanding. Acknowledge him in all thy ways and he will direct thy path.
